Celebrity Work

This year Kelly received world wide press when she designed the Sony Ericsson Dress. The dress was created for a print ad for the z750 Purple cell phone. The dress was worn by tennis celebrity Jelena Jankovic. She wore the dress at the Sony Ericsson Open Kickoff Party. The dress was more than a one of a kind design, it was the first dress to be created out of 700 cell phones. The dress was covered with rectangular, individually cut paillettes made from cell phone shells. The jewelry and shoes were covered with over 5000 Swarovski crystals which were individually attached by hand. You can see cell phone call buttons, circular cut camera lenses backed in Swarovski crystals and Pailettes as you admire the dress bearing the Sony Ericsson name. This is what Jelena had to say about the dress.

"The dress had open back which pointed many cameras towards me, but I have to admit it felt great wearing something unique and priceless, and every girl in that moment would feel special, especially when I add to the outfit, the shoes, which were remarkable. I felt as if I was in a fairytale, like Cinderella, haha. The shoes were decorated with Swarovski crystals and certain mobile phone parts."
